The Support Bands

The crowd gathered, and the show started.

First up were Maleificent. Unfortunaletly I only caught the second half
of their set, so missed the bit where they dismembered a teddy-bear and
extracted its entrails, though you can see the bloody smudges on the singer's
dress!

The Faces Of Sarah

Next up were The Faces Of Sarah, with a new lineup, but still with
a storming performance, backed by a full drumkit. When they came to
do the classic "Misery Turns", Candia leapt on stage and joined them
to sing it as a duet, totally unplanned! The audience loved every
minute.

The Ghost Of Lemora

In an echo of that magical night in 2003 when Inkubus Sukkubus last played
the Underworld, the main support act once again were the very good Ghost Of
Lemora. Quite a bit's happened to them since then, they've signed to
Resurrection Records and released two very good albums, "Reach For The Ground"
and "Happy End Of The World". They've also lost Stuart, the original bassist,
and gained Jamie, formerly the bass player in Sheffield-based Libitina.
Oh yeah - and they played a brilliant set, too!
