At 9:30 Screaming Dead hit the stage, and what a difference! Bransons has been equiped with the PA rig and mixer gear from the Axiom (all 26k worth of it!), which really let the band's talent run wild. Screaming guitars, pounding bass and driving rythm, combined with a voice from the pillaged depths of ravished tombs, Screaming Dead are a force to be reckoned with.

Shrouded in smoke, backlit by scarlet floodlamps which turned the smoke to swirling blood, and with Sam, on vocals, lit from below by a strobe lamp attached to the mike stand, they blasted through their set like an avanging vampire,

Screaming Dead - Death rides out at Bransons...

blood-stained lyrics pouring sharp and clear from the hulking speaker stacks either side of the stage. For a full fortyfive minutes Mal, Tony and Sam dominated the venue, all too soon it was over. "Death Rides Out" is now very definetly high on our CD purchase list!

Compared to the (now dead) Duchess up in Leeds, Bransons is huge, yet Screaming Dead still managed to get the audience warmed up and hungry for more - click on the Inkubus Sukkubus link below to see what came next!
