Inkubus Sukkubus have played the huge Witchfest International events, held in Croydon in early November each year, several times now, but this year they were invited to play at the smaller "Witchfest England", held in the same venue, just after Beltaine each year.
This time they also has an extra treat in store - a stunning video backdrop for the entire set! This really elevated the band's performance and presence to entirely new levels, the result was very impressive indeed. Among other items we were treated to walking goddesses, a naked and blood-soaked Lilith, flying witches, giant psychadelic mushrooms, temples, castles, and other ruins, dancing covens, and a very seductive Vampyra. It was a brilliant gig, wonderfully fresh and blazing with life, as the photos below show. Enjoy!
Inkies gigs are of course infamous for the after-gig shenanagins, and so once the stage was cleared and the gear safeley stowed, it was on with the party!

There's nothing like a glass or two of mead to get the creative interests going. First I shot four pictures through the bar's stained glass windows, and then went out into the warm night to shoot some long-exposure shots, while the party quietly rolled on in the bar. It was a special kind of night, magic, even.
