New Album Announced!!!

Midsummer 2003 - Inkubus Sukkubus have announced they are working on a new album to be released sometime near Samhain (October 31st) of this year. Titled "The Beast With Two Backs", the album will be the band's 9th, and will see some interesting changes, including the presence of a human drummer for the first time in several years. Planning is still at a fairly early stage, some music has been written but as yet no lyrics created and no definite decisions on the final track listing have yet been made. As the band have developed their unique musical style considerably over the last few albums, this one really should be something quite special. Full details and ordering information will be made available just as soon as they are finalised.

More information on the new album is available here.

(Note, comments above are by Pyromancer and reflect conversations with the band had in noisy goth pubs at unlikely hours of the morning, any errors, omissions, or factual inaccuracies are entirely my doing!)

Tour 2003 - Selected Highlights

Note this is not the complete gig list, that can be found on the Gigs page of the band's official site at www.inkubussukkubus.com. This list is mostly gigs I plan to attend (hence usually all in the UK), and about which I want to present additional information. Generally speaking, if a gig is listed here, you can expect, eventually, to find a detailed review of it in the Review section in due course!

Will this mean another outing for the now legendary flying van? Will Charlotte Sometimes return to wreak vengance on the one who bequeathed her the Dark Gift? Will Candia manage to make it to the end of the set without falling over? Who will be entombed forever in the darkest dungeons of the ancient castle? Will Pyromancer actually get any sleep? Does anyone care? <vampyre gryn>

So, children of darkness, come to Rochester, two weeks past Lammas, and join the merriment of what will definetly be one of the highlights of the band's hectic 2003 tour schedule!
